Training and Mentoring
The main focus of my work as a trainer is to support people in learning and incorporating different forms of spontaneous music-making, improvisational singing, embodiment, and voice work into communities and organisations.
Spontaneous singing can energize people, engage them creatively, and foster well-being and human connection within organisations. Vocal improvisation expands horizons and offers new, essential skills that go beyond the value system of conventional music education and activities.
I began offering training and mentoring initially as CPD for music services, in music healthcare programs, and for other NGOs. I still deliver training in these settings and am passionate about bringing more vocal improvisation to music-related institutions, while offering new perspectives on practice and creativity for musicians, music students, educators, and community workers.
Back in 2017, I launched the first Vocal Improvisation Training for Vocal Leaders – now called Enabling Singing Villages. These trainings have been held a couple of times a year since then. Through them, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to meet, equip, and inspire a diverse and curious group of talented music-makers: singers, choir leaders, music therapists, teachers, and ceremony holders—in their practice and sharing of vocal improvisation and spontaneous song.
For many participants, individual mentoring became a complement for the Vocal Leader’s training, either beforehand as preparation for the course, or afterwards as a way to follow-up and consolidate the learnings.
My style as a trainer is emergent and dialogic, body-centred and inviting awareness, wholeness and a resonant presence. I encourage mutual learning and offer flexibility, adapting tools and structures to the process, the needs and questions of participants and the flow of vitality in the room.
I train and mentor individuals through their journeys in voice, in the discovery and deepening of vocal improvisation practice. To develop their musicality and to help expand their facilitating skills.
Work with Me
“Thank you for the very generous, inclusive and masterful space that you hold with such a light touch and such confidence in the spirit of the group and the spirit of the work.”

“I’m grateful for the precious musical skills and tools but also for the humanity and authenticity of your being, I need it, the world needs it. And the group...we have been a tribe for some days, gifting each other with our authentic and personal colours. I feel expanded both as a person and a facilitator.”
RP, Spain
“The week has been filled with insights, reflections and gratitude. It was such a joy to be in such musicianship and a space of open generosity. Your listening and deep passion for the potential of this work is inspiring.”
